A bench to love ... and to own

Stop by the Alice Baker Library and place your bid on the decorated Aldo Leopold bench. Perfect for your backyard, porch, or deck. Thank you to the Palmyra-Eagle High School art class for painting the bench. This is a silent auction item. The winner will be determined on Sunday, July 13. The winner will be notified. The minimum bid accepted is $75.00. The bench may be delivered in the Eagle area. Proceeds will be used for the Eagle Nature Trail which connects the Alice Baker Library with the Eagle Elementary School.

 

Library Board Vacancy

There is an opening on the Library Board of the Alice Baker Library for a resident of the Town of Eagle. Meetings are held on the second Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. The next Library Board meeting will be on Monday, July 14. Board members serve for a term of three years. If you are intersted in this position, please submit a letter of interest and resume to Library Director Alli Chase at the Alice Baker Library, P.O.Box 520 , Eagle, WI 53119. Join us for a picnic lunch rain or shine at 12:30pm on Friday, June 20. Bring your lunch. We'll provide dessert. Mike and Miller performance at 1pm. What's behind the "impossible" feats a circus clown performs every day? Science. You can't throw a yo-yo without physics. You can't hold a bubble without chemistry and you can't juggle a club without knowing where the center of gravity is. See scientific knowledge in use as Miller and Mike juggle, throw, and balance their way through this high energy show!
