I was fortunate to have heard Craig Culver speak this past week at the Waukesha County Exective Awards luncheon. He spoke about how hospitality is the heart of his business. This resonated with me as I feel strongly that hospitality is vital for public libraries. He said that he embraces change, loves change and sees it as an opportunity for "reimaging". Right now change to me means migrating from SIRSI to Polaris and having Menomonee Falls join the CAFE consortium. I shook his hand after he spoke and thanked him for what Culver's does for public libraries in Waukesha County.
