The Southeast Wisconsin Festival of Books will return to the University of Wisconsin-Waukesha campus on June 15-16, 2012 celebrating the theme “Freedom to Read.”
With its strong election-year echoes, this theme provides a framework for discussion about the vital role reading, literacy and intellectual freedom play in our ability to understand and engage not just in our own political process, but the global community and how creative freedom and diversity help us achieve our own highest potential individually and collectively.
