Tomie de Paola is a national treasure. His books for children, accompanied by his charming illustrations, have brightened childhood for nearly 50 years. This fall, Tomie celebrates his 75th birthday. Several galleries in Massachusetts, are celebrating his life and art with retrospective exhibitions, each focusing on different aspects of his career.
