We rolled out a new service last week that sounds like a winner--OverDrive Download Service. Using OverDrive, you can download audio titles to enjoy on your PC, or other supported device. You can also burn them to CD for leisurely listening.
Using OverDrive is simple--you need a valid library card, brief access to the Internet, and the free OverDrive media console which can be downloaded from the OverDrive site.
There are hundreds of available titles in fiction and non-fiction, ranging from LaHaye and Jenkins to Stuart Woods to Suze Orman. Take a look and get listening with this great new way to enjoy your public library.
what! that rocks! like i'm going to pay itunes for it now when i can get it from my library!
and now i'm regretting spending hours ripping LOTR....
